Percy I. Weasley
I finished the copy of Winnie the Pooh I got for Christmas today; I must say it is a bit of an odd story. For those of you who haven't read, it is the story of a bear who lives in a hundred-acre wood with assorted animal friends and a human boy who comes to visit for some reason or another. It's quite surreal, especially since I don't believe many of the aforementioned animals are native to the area in question. However, Hermione Granger pointed out to me earlier that the story relates to the ancient Chinese philosophy of Taoism, so I don't suppose everything in it is to be taken literally. I still haven't read up on my ancient philosophies as a refresher so I really can't say much about that for certain. As an aside, I daresay the bear's condition of being of 'very little brain' may relate directly to his consumption of honey. An unbalanced diet such as that is bound to have negative effects on an animal sooner or later.
But I digress.
Work on the Committee has slowed a bit lately, though I assure you all we are still endeavouring to do the best we can. I can't say much more than that, but I will reveal more when the time is right and things are officially in motion.
That bottle of champagne is still sitting unopened in the refrigerator; I may nip off and have a glass before bed.
